During my A-levels I chose to do an EPQ with the title: "How Computer Science benefits the Medical Industry" and achieved an A. During this I wrote a 2000 word essay as well as a proof of concept variable heart-rate monitor.
My essay weighed the importance of computer science in the medical field, touching on various areas but mainly about tech wearables that aid people in a health-related way. My artefact was based on emergency alert bracelets and the usefulness of the technology to hospitals.
For the artefact I attempted and documented all the related CamJam worksheets to gain confidence with the kit and to plan how my sensor would work.
